STAINMASTER® Carpet Recycling Program
Baker Bros. Area Rugs and Flooring is proud to be Arizona’s exclusive partner in STAINMASTER® Carpet Recycling Program. As a pioneer member of this network, we can confidently assure our customers that Baker Bros. is participating in the reclamation and recycling of old carpet. Our goal for this program is very simple:
WE SEND NO CARPET TO THE LANDFILL!
All carpet removed from our customer’s homes during installation of new carpet will be reclaimed and recycled. We realize that customers understand that the choices they are making in carpet selection today may impact the environment today and for years to come; and, that their choosing STAINMASTER® carpet as part of a commitment to protecting the environment is certainly a step in the right direction. We also believe that “Sustainability Begins with Products That Last™”, and Baker Bros is proud to tell our customers that:
- STAINMASTER® carpets have been proven to last up to 50% longer than other carpets*, thus extending its useful life.
- STAINMASTER® carpet – made of nylon 6,6 – is recyclable.
- At the end of its usable life, STAINMASTER® carpet can be reclaimed.
Recycling means a second life for old carpet.
Baker Bros is proud to be one of the industry pioneers of this program and take charge of our responsibility to the environment and our local community. Invista’s Carpet Reclamation Program has helped Stainmaster® collect over 85 million pounds of carpet since 2001, resulting in more than 425,000 cubic yards of conserved landfill space.
